A number of studies were examined around the validity of Autistic Disorder in present DSM; DSM-IV-TR and on the near future proposed DSM; DSM-V. Earlier DSM's were also examined to be able to analyze the and routine of the analysis criteria. Furthermore, studies that compared Autistic Disorder with Asperger's Disorder and Autistic Disorder with Pervasive Developmental Disorder Certainly not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) were examined in order to predict whether or not the proposed DSM-V would show validity in its criterion of this disorder.
Research on the validity of Autistic Disorder in Past, Present and Future DSM's Advantages
Over the past years there has been a great deal of attention delivered to Autism.
