The effect of Green Revolution on India

Introduction

In the foundation of the meals crisis that gripped India in the 1960s and 1970s, the federal government of India initiated the ‘Green Revolution' program. (i) Personal inequalities:

Due to Green Revolution the income of rich maqui berry farmers increased considerably whereas poor people farmers could hardly reap any benefit. Therefore in Punjab it resulted in concentration of wealth, profits and possessions with the abundant farmers on the one hand and continuous pauperization from the rural poor. This resulted in a class issue between the rich and the poor farmers. The little and little farmers were deprived of enjoying increases in size of new technology.
