Tone of Chopin's The Story of an Hour

Kate Chopin's The Story in the Hour tells the story of one woman's reaction to her partner's supposed loss of life. Nevertheless , when she's all alone your woman reveals her true thoughts. She's enthusiastic at the fact that she will finally be free from her husband and happy to not need to constantly try to you should him. She over and over again repeats " totally free! This can be quite ironic since they are concerned with her effect with her heart condition. The readers find out her pleasure at her husband's fatality, but the additional characters tend not to. This implies that when your woman sees her husband once again, it is bittersweet. He is alive, but the lady wishes that he was not really....
